An ear candle, often referred to as an ear wax candle or ear coning, is a hollow tube typically made of fabric or wax, with one end placed into the ear canal and the other end lit. The idea behind ear candling is that the heat from the burning candle creates a gentle vacuum, which is to draw earwax and other impurities out of the ear canal.
